ML is the aluminum-frame single-phase, capacitor-start, in a lighter shell than a cast-iron motor of the same centre height. It suits a small compressor, a pump or a bench machine that is carried, or a bed that will not take the weight of cast iron. The foot or the flange is the IEC size on the nameplate. Send that size with the voltage and the duty, and the winding is made to it.
